- Students must reside in the state of Georgia and live within the attendance boundary of a Georgia public school that is rated in the bottom 25% of schools in the state.
- This program requires prior year enrollment in a Georgia public school, except for students entering kindergarten.

What materials do I need?
- Proof of Georgia residency: You will be required to upload either a Georgia-issued driver’s license or state ID.
- One statement confirming Georgia residency:
- A utility bill (gas, water, or electric), a mortgage statement, a bill of house sale, or a lease agreement.
- Proof of Income: You will be required to upload your most recent federal 1040 or 1040 EZ tax form. Visit the IRS website if you are unsure of where your copy is.
- If you are Active Duty Military transferring into the state of Georgia within the past year, you will be required to upload a copy of your active duty orders placing you within the state of Georgia in the past year instead of the above residency documents.
- School enrollment records: You may be required to upload proof of public school attendance during the 2024-25 academic year such as report cards or attendance reports. This will not be required for kindergarten students.
